BHRA Executive 2011 - 2012

Chairman - Steve Parker

As Chairman, Steve is responsible to represent the Association in all matters, to call and preside over all Executive and Association meetings, is an ex-officio member of every committee, and is responsible to ensure an annual audit is conducted prior to the September meeting. He is a director with several other organizations. Steve has been involved in hockey all his life, has refereed for many years, and has officiated in OMHA & AAA Championships.

Vice-Chairman - Ryan Jackson

As Vice-Chairman, Ryan is responsible for the administration of specific programs of the Association, such as the Mentoring Training Program. He also serves in any special capacity as requested by the Chairman. In the event the Chairman is unable to fulfill his or her obligations then Ryan will take on the role of Chairman. Ryan has been involved in hockey all his life and has officiated in OMHA & AAA Championships.

Ryan is also the Barrie AAA Colts Referee-In-Chief

Treasurer - Joseph Rudnick

As Treasurer, Joseph is responsible to collect, manage and report the financial matters of the Association, to maintain the Associations bank account, to provide an annual budget for membership approval, to provide monthly financial reports, and to provide the annual financial report presented at the Annual General Meeting. As Treasurer, he is an ex-officio member of the Entertainment (Social) Committee. Joseph been involved in hockey all his life. He has refereed for a 1/2 dozen years and has officiated in OMHA & AAA Championships.

Secretary - Carl Jolliffe

As Secretary, Carl is responsible to send out all Association notifications, to handle correspondence, to record the minutes of all meetings held by the Executive and the Association, and to maintain the records of the Association. He started refereeing several years ago and joined the board in April of 2011.

Executive Steward (Director) - Robert Kennedy

As Executive Steward, Robert is responsible for all assigned projects by the Chairman. As Equipment Director, he is responsible for managing the used referee equipment made available to our new officials. Rob has been involved in hockey all his life. He has refereed for a 1/2 dozen years and has officiated in OMHA & AAA Championships.

Past Chairman - Mike Ferguson

As past Chairman, Mike is responsible to take on the duties of Vice-Chairman if the Chairman is unable to fulfill his or her obligations, and to take on the duties of Chairman in the absence of both the current Chairman AND the Vice Chairman. Mike is one of the eight founding members of the Referees Association and has served as a member of the executive since it's inception, holding various positions such as Treasurer, Vice-Chair and Chairman. Mike has been involved in hockey all his adult life, refereeing for many years and has officiated in OMHA Championships.

Mike is the Barrie Minor Hockey Association Referee-In-Chief (HL - LL, AE, A & AA)
