BHRA Application Process:
Complete the BHRA application below.
Successful applicants will be notified via email.
The successful applicants will then be responsible for completing all OMHA requirements to obtain their referee certification. Please visit the OMHA website for the most up-to-date certification requirements. As of 2024, the requirements for new officials included completion of the below:
Hockey Canada Officiating Program - Intro (Online Course)
Respect in Sport - Officials Program (Online Course)
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening - Submitted via the OHF submission portal
OMHA Enhanced Entry Level Referee School (in-person clinic)
Upon providing proof of OMHA certification, the applicant will be permitted to join the BHRA roster pending compliance with all Hockey Canada, OHF, OMHA and BHRA Rules, Regulations and Bylaws.
